Misha lost one of her front tooth last week. She looks so funny and... naughty!! heheh

I was helping her with her Islamic Studies homework a couple of nights ago... the topic's on Thanking Allah. The last question was -- I would ask Allah:

...this was what she finally wrote in her book

But you know what she wanted to write? "I would ask Allah to bring my daddy back."

On the streets of Jakarta

Jakarta is really a crazy city traffic-wise. It's infamous for it's horrific traffic jam. Macet terus-terusan...

One time we were in the Blue Bird taxi for almost two hours in a journey which could easily take only 30 minutes at most. I nearly threw up in the car from the suffocation. I don't have much to say for the air quality either.

Bajai or bajaj is the preferred mode of transportation for short distances...

The highly-densed city's streets are packed up with the young and old...

...unfortunately beggars like these are not an uncommon sight

Having said all that, one do get to see the cheerful side of the city streets here as well-- sidewalk traders selling their stuff adds colour to the busy walkways...

Misha took this out from her schoolbag one day. Apparently, she made this is class while waiting for the teacher to come in for the next lesson.

Though Daddy's no longer around physically, I am happy to note that he is still very much a part of our daily lives. One day, all of us will be reunited again as one family, InsyaAllah... That is what I live for.
