A little note from moi...

Been neglecting this blog, yes I have. Thought I'd put in an entry now that I have the time.

Been a little busy. And will be for the next couple of weeks. No complaints, though. All's good.

Things will get even busier in the weeks to come, but I am so looking forward to Ramadhan when things will slow down in the office. We all need that break. After Ramadhan comes Syawal... dah beli baju raya?? Haaa... I haven't sent the kain-kain to tailor pun... I will dedicate next weekend la to uruskan hal-hal tersebut, insya-Allah. Kalau tak sempat, nampaknya terperuk la all the berkeping-keping kain dalam almari!!

Was a little under the weather for almost a week but didn't drag myself to the doctor's office (I suck at that) and survived on paracetamol. Finally couldn't take it anymore yesterday evening after a 3-day teambuilding session (which was fun!) and got myself a jap on the tush.

Am excited about a project I'm co-embarking on for Ramadhan. We've talked about it for quite some time (me and my partner) and decided to do something this year, and alhamdulillah the proposal was well-received and orders confirmed. Yeay!! This involves no baking, though. But I am still baking and still taking orders... haven't been putting up photos of cakes up here, but am still baking :-)

Have to be in PICC tomorrow by 7.15am, isn't that great?? NOT!! Hmmm... what to do?? Like I said, hope this madness will go to a halt come Ramadhan.

Well, think I'll do myself a little favor and make moi a cup of honey lemon tea after I'm done with this post.

Enjoyed cups of it last night with my girl cousins who came over. Pic above was taken last night (p/s: see the white basket in the background? it's part of the Ramadhan project I'm working on).

We spent our Saturday night, six of us girls including my kiddoes going through stamps Uni brought over for my girls to start their collection. We were only able to manage stamps from Hong Kong last night, in between chatting and watching Walk the Line on DVD. Perhaps that's what we'll do, a country each weekend. Sounds good. Gosh!! I sound soooo nerdy!! Hahahah...

Feeling excited as we were going through the beautiful stamps from all over, I took out the box-full of cards and letters I sent from the US to dear late hubby in the mid-90s and we admired the stamps and pretty envelopes too (no one was allowed to open the letters, though hehe). The stamps will have to remain stuck on the many letters, cards and postcards ya girls... they won't be joining the stamps in your collection anytime soon.
