when u guys were in cameron few mths back, mesti u selalu smile kan?...surrounded by pretty flowers....
wow, they are beautiful, and the price makes it even more beautiful! You do have an art with flower arrangements. You are like my sisters. They can take lalang and a vase, and make them look exotic. I take in lalang and a vase, and it looks like lalang in a vase....
Never used to love flower(guessed Singapore life is too busy to bother about flower)...but since I moved back to Ipoh, I have started to put some flowers here and there...and it is true that Flowers can really cheers you up!
I love the scent too...I even put some in my toilet.
ladydi, petite n powerful & jean -- I love having fresh flowers in the house, though I don't have them all the time, more like replenishing them every other week. Flowers can get pretty expensive, so I was thrilled to find some at RM5 for two bunches!!!
I don't 'arrange' my flowers, just campak-campak in the vase... my mom on the other hand is blessed with such creativity... she is very very good at arranging fresh flowers as well as creating fake ones from beads, candy and what-have-you's.
Flowers in the toilet? That's nice... I have pretty lil' potted plants in mine... ;-)
hmmm....gerrrrraaaaammmm....lawaaaanya!!! o ya, you do have the talent, kan? I remember when I moved to my first house, I got so angry as to why my lily 'campak-campak' tak jadi cantik macam kat rumah Kathy Ibrahim yg I tengok kat magazine!! ha ha ha those were the days!!
ms hart -- masya Allah... memang cantik ciptaan Allah!!!
hahaha... I remember in the early 90's (I think) rumah Kathy Ibrahim selalu masuk mag... I remember loving her house... ala English with lots of flowers and hanging plates on the wall... memang lawaaa. I also remember her home with lots of green (my fav color)floral upholstery. Hmmm... ni yang buat nak pegi kedai Kak Zah ni... (FYI Kak Zah is my version of your Kak Pura)!!! heheh
ha ha ha..confirm kita ni sedara!!! I used to tengok rumah Kathy Ibrahim in the mag sampai macam nak tembus page tu!! Then ada hati nak cari material deep green, off-white, stripy, then ada rose prints macam kat rumah dia!! (of course tak dapat masa tu - more of tak mampu!!) Not to mention her marble side table!! Pas tu nak susun sofa senget-senget macam rumah dia jugak!!! so...kelakar! But now I tengok banyak houses yang sort of 'over do'..decor macam nak masuk magazine, bukan macam nak tinggal kat rumah tu, kan? I love something sweet to look at and yet practical for the whole occupants. Being 'sedara', I know you think the same!! ha ha ha
ms hart -- 'susun sofa senget-senget' tu made me gelak kah kah kah!!! ;-D
Yup, I know what you mean bout houses macam showroom tu yang lack personal touch...
salam, flowers in late spring/early summer is a no no for me, no matter how beautiful. They make me sneeze.
I can only appreciate from afar.
Happy Mother's Day and God bless!
