Misha promised her girlfriends in school that she'd bake them some cookies and bring 'em to school on Monday. Wonder where she got the great idea from!
Thank God I have a Betty Crocker choc chip cookie mix stored in the kitchen cabinet somewhere (all kitchen goddesses out there, I beg not to be ridiculed... heheh).
So that's what we did Saturday afternoon during the heavy rain...

Sometimes one will never know the unintended effect one has on others. Today, without knowing it, you have made a difference for me.
I am just a weak human being who is trying to make the best out of circumstances, and be strong for my girls and my own sake.
But sometimes sadness catches up on me no matter how fast I run. It's been awhile now since I entertained that feeling of pain, but try as I could, it just surfaced by itself last night. Cried buckets and this morning went to work with puffy eyes.
And so, your comments have really lifted my spirits. To know that someone out there, what more a stranger, cares.

awwww....glad that you didn't chuck out my sincere comments...to tell you the truth, it has been a while...after reading your entries..i wanted to post something to make you happy and finally, with guts...i did it y'day...while reading your reply...tears were running down my cheeks...honestly, i understand your feelings...
i have kids as well...and i can feel your daughters' feelings..my eldest gal is 10, boy is 9, another gal is 4 and my lil' princess is 1...we live s'where in sg.buloh...
but i really think you will b doing fine eventho sadness can suddenly creeps in...but looking at your blog..it sure does give you new light and hope...i like that...n that's what you need...to gain back the energy without forgetting memories of your late hubby...n of course to have a good n supportive circle of frenz...who can listen n share...(i will alwiz need that)...family n frenz (good ones) will sure give you such energy which you've lost it somewhere...
you shud keep your chin up...be strong for your girls (sweet n pretty girls...and of course bright)..coz they really need you..more than anything else in this whole wide world...mummy must b strong despite cries..loneliness n such...but of course you can let the sadness out by crying..it's good tho...take care..catch up later k?...
p/s: i bought the book (p.s i love you after reading ur entry)..but i didn't quite enjoy it...why don't you get urself some good books from sophie kinsella (shopaholics n such..i'm a big fan or her..hehe..)..she will give you a big smile after a long hard day at work..ciao...
