Thank you, little Aaleyah (born 18 Aug, 7.40am) for staying put in your momma's tummy a little while longer, which allowed your ever-so-busy auntie-auntie to hold a surprise baby shower for your momma last weekend!!
We had planned a baby shower for dear A almost 2 months ago, but never found a suitable date to accomodate everyone. Last-last found a time last week, though not all can make it. No choice, had to do it last weekend jugak-jugak before Ramadhan, kan?
A was scheduled to be induced for early delivery on 21 Aug (original due date 09.09.09) as little Aaleyah had grew so big already in momma's tummy!! Tup tup, received an sms from her hubby that she had delivered yesterday!! A had said after the party that it was the best shock of the week for her. Kot-kot ter-shocked sangat sampai baby Aaleyah pun keluar cepat!! hehe... Alhamdulillah... a smooth and easy delivery for A and both momma and daughter are well and expected to be discharged today.

ms hart -- nasib baiklah Aaleyah 'cooperated' with us and tak terberanak earlier than the shower!! kalau tak rasa guilty giler auntie T sebab dia yang duk sibuk manjang every weekend!!

Soooooooooo cantik. This made me wish I was pregnant.
wanshana -- pretty in pink!! I have yet to see the baby coz don't wanna cram the hospital with the current situation. As of this morning, baby and momma still in hospital as Aaleyah developed a bit of jaundice, but otherwise both are in the pink of health!!

Like my daughter would say "santeknyer!!!" ... never attended any baby shower before.. What do you ladies do?
Niza -- hmmmm... sebenarnya baby shower ni tuk present gifts for the baby prior to his/her arrival la kot... the baby shower we organised was held at a private room in a restaurant, we had food, cake and the highlight was opening the presents... it's supposed to help the mom out with friends/family getting baby stuff for her. We had the shower for my friend A as she was expecting a baby girl after 2 boys :-)
