Got into the car this morning to go to work and Thriller was on... was telling myself, "great song to be playing on the radio to start off a lazy Friday"... and then it was Man in the Mirror... "aik!! how come two MJ songs back-to-back? Is he dead??" My heart skipped a beat.
Then Piedro announced that yes, the King of Pop passed on this morning about 6.50am our time.
I am saddened. I love MJ. In fact, you can say he was my first love and I continued loving him until he became a white man!! I used to have a huge poster of him hanging in my closet door when I was 11 or 12. My cousin till this day will make fun of me, telling people how I would tell everyone that if ever my house was on fire, the first thing I'd take with me is my MJ poster!!
I am soooo gonna go out and buy his compilation CD of his greatest hits this weekend.
Let's pray Allah place his soul amongst the chosen ones. Ameen.

I love him too. Never mind what others say about him. I'm saddened by his passing, so so sad.
The 80s, my UW days & MJ hits...ahh...so nostalgic.
kay -- he was a great musician kan... he was chosen to receive that gift from Him. I can't wait for news about the burial and how it's going to be... apa-apapun, pray to Allah for the best.

Ayah siap call I pagi semalam on his way to work after he heard it on the radio, and semalam, right after we came back from dinner, terus turned on ASTRO and flick through all the relevant channels to follow the reports on his death and also tributes to him.
So, so sad...There'll never ever be anybody who could match his amazing talents.
Yes, it'll be interesting to see which rites he'll be buried with nanti.
May he rest in peace.
