We searched hi and lo around Jakarta to look for this ikan gurame (goo-rah-mee) goreng...
So, on our last day in the city, guided by the hired supir, we went from Senayan to Ancol to Menteng and then back to Senayan again to look for it... (Bapak see-eee-ohh can't remember the name of the restaurant nor the district it was located in!)
Akhirnya, pencarian ikan gurame yang dipengenkan Bapak see-eee-ohh sukses...
The fried fish tasted a lot like... fried fish!!!

came here from ms.hart...when i saw the fish, i just have to leave my mark here he he...btw, i had this fish at Sundanese in KLCC, not bad...

hs hart -- finally went back to Senayan and had it @ Taman Ria, 15 mins away from our hotel after mutar-mutar sekitar Jakarta for 2 hours!!
zaitgha -- thanks for dropping a line... you mean we can have it right here in KL?? And the see-eee-ohh made us circle the city for 2 hours for something we can have right here?? Hmmm... tak patut..tak patut... ;-)
