My nieces Maya and Tini lovingly organised a birthday bash for their mom, my eldest sis Kak Long as well as for my second sis, Kak Anim and her grandkid, Lisa this afternoon. Like my dad, all three of them are April babies.
It was makan, makan and more makan!!!
Maya the kitchen goddess baked blueberry cheesecake, a scrumptuoliscious chicken pie and fried popiah. Another niece, Jasmine baked apple strudels and also made some trifle. Rajin bebudak nih!!! The main dish was laksa Johor... aahhh... my tummy still hurts from the over-eating!!!

daybab -- thanks for the hospitality and the food!! Was so stuffed last night, so kept all the tapau-ed food in the fridge... now terkenang-kenangkan the laksa Johor and your yummylicious chicken pie!!! Honestly, it's the best chicken pie I've ever tasted!!!
oooo... my eyes can spot (and smell) laksa johor even from a distance!! Aaaah, bestnya. These few week my mood masak/baking sudah sink in la. sigh*

My nieces Maya and Tini are in their twenties. Maya is a bride-to-be. Another niece Jasmine is in her early thirties and is expecting her fourth child soon!!! (I soooo feel like an under-achiever!!!)
