Poor little Misha...

With medication, Misha's temperature was fine on Sunday morning and I took her and Maira shopping for her upcoming birthday party. Thought that it would be a good idea to cheer her up.

I couldn't find the party store we used to go to in One Utama and resorted to get some party deco at Toys 'R' Us instead. They didn't have what we were looking for, so we just got some stuff for the party packs.

The girls also got some new outfits to wear at the party.

They went to bed early last night after a a whole day of shopping. Maira slept in her room, and Misha with me, so that it would be easier for me to give her medication during the night. Misha could hardly sleep, tossing left and right, complaining of being cold. The air-cond was off, but the fan was on slow speed.

In the middle of the night, her temperature rose and she was burning! Coaxed her to take a cold shower, but she didn't want to and started crying... so sponging was the alternative.

Finally, after her medication at 6am, she fell asleep.

I decided to take leave from work this morning to take care of her. Kesian sangat tengok dia masa tengah malam. Her lips were so red from the heat!

Instead of taking her to the clinic again, I took matters in my own hands and decided that I will get some 'real medicine' to treat her rising temperature. It's not like I like playing doctor, but I believe a mother's intuition is the best. I believe that she just needs a stronger dose of paracetamol -unlike the kind that panel doctors prescribe you.

After breakfast, Misha followed me to the pharmacy. As soon as we came out from the pharmacy, she saw the beautiful flowers outside a shop just two doors away and said she wanted to get some for the house.

Misha chose some gerbera daisies, berries and some fillers. She looked so happy choosing them.
